Looking back over Finegreen’s first ten years, three key themes emerge time and again. These are the ‘3-Rs’ – relationships, resilience and relevance.


Relationships, because we have worked very hard to understand, and meet, the detailed needs of clients and candidates alike – so that we can help both find the tightest possible fit.


Resilience, because we have weathered storms such as the deepest-ever economic recession – and emerged stronger than ever.


And relevance, as we have kept ahead of changes in the needs of the health sector – including the growing clamour for excellent leadership and workforce development in the NHS - against the background of unprecedented  financial constraints.


Here we take a look at the challenges and changes that have faced Finegreen, what our clients and candidates think of our efforts on their behalves – and what the future might hold.

Finegreen at events!

Over the years, Finegreen have gained a reputation for not only providing a high quality service but for exhibiting at a large number of healthcare conferences alongside running smaller very successful events such as breakfast seminars and dinners.

Due to our passion for the Healthcare market and being a market leader in the placement of 'Healthcare Leaders' across the UK and in International markets, it seemed only right to give something back to the market. In the wake of London 2012, we wanted to continue along the Olympic theme and with budgets and spend still under the microscope we offered a fantastic value for money leadership conference, with guest speakers including;

Former Olympic High Jumper and Olympic Medal Winner - STEVE SMITH, recognised as one of the best motivational and inspirational speakers in the UK;

Other 'Olympians' of the Healthcare sector;

JAN SOBIERAJ - Managing Director, NHS Leadership Academy
DAVID RAMSEY - Head of Human Capital Consulting, Deloitte
YVONNE SAWBRIDGE - Senior Fellow - Health Services Management Centre, University of Birmingham

The CPD accredited conference was chaired by JOHN ROSTILL OBE, former Chief Executive, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and now Non Executive Director to Finegreen Associates. To view highlights from the event, please go here
 


Based on the success of the day which saw over 150 delegates attend, we ran a follow up event in 2013 with guest speakers including Roger Black MBE - this time under the theme "SETTING THE PACE - ACHIEVING GREAT LEADERSHIP IN HEALTHCARE" - which tied in with our Linkedin group of the same name (currently over 1,200 members and rising daily!).  In addition to this, in May 2014, we ran a more intimate 'FOLLOWING FRANCIS, CHANGING CULTURE' seminar in Bromsgrove.



PAM Seminars

Since 2013, our Estates Team have also had the privilege of running a series of PAM seminars in association with Capsticks LLP. These events, chaired by Peter Sellers, have proved hugely popular throughout the country.



Exhibiting at events over the last ten years

Ever since our first healthcare event at HFMA's Annual Conference in 2006, we've looked to add some creativity and innovation to our exhibition stands, offering different forms of interactivity for delegates, ranging from F1 Racing games & Batak machines to adding a little wow factor with some brilliant mind readers and award winning magicians!
